Caroline Vega
Business Consultant
Caroline is of Brazilian descent and is Dr. Vega’s wife. She has a PhD in Dentistry and serves as our business consultant.
Education & Passion: Her passion for teaching took her to the position of professor with a residency program at a University in Brazil. Doing research during her master’s and doctorate degrees made her eyes shine and her heart smile.
Languages & Travel: While an exchange student in Belgium, she learned to speak French fluently. She loves learning new languages (currently improving her Spanish and English). She enjoys traveling to picturesque places, cooking, and speaking French with Dr. Vega—their secret language!
Fun Fact: Caroline has had the title of Ambassador of the Country of Liège since she lived in Belgium in 2009.
Jose Pacheco
Office Manager
Jose has over 10 years of dental administrative experience. He is the friendly voice you hear when you call our office!
Jose plays a big role in creating a positive patient experience. He is your go-to for:
- Billing and insurance claims
- Scheduling urgent matters
- Answering your questions
- Ensuring the office runs efficiently
Jose is happily married to his lovely wife, Maria. They have four beautiful children (2 boys and 2 girls) and he loves spending his free time doing activities with them.
Fun Fact: Jose likes to DJ in his spare time.
Jaime Pacheco, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
Jaime grew up in Houston, Texas, and comes to us with many years of experience in the dental industry. As a child, Jaime wanted to be an artist but found a talent in dentistry that led him to follow his passion.
Certifications & Education:
- Graduate of Houston Community College
- Registered Dentistry Assistant diploma
- State Board Certified in Radiology, Infection Control, and Jurisprudence
- Certified in CPR, Nitrous, and Coronal polishing
Fun Fact: He finds great pleasure in drawing and abstract painting in his free time.
Mark Anthony Romero, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
Mark has been an RDA for 10 years, bringing general, periodontal, and prosthodontic expertise to the team. Known as “Mr. Personality,” he brings a vibrant, friendly welcome to our office.
Technical Skills:
- Fabricating prostheses and crowns
- Creating dentures
- General Lab work
Although he is a native Houstonian, he has deep roots in Michoacan, Mexico. He is a soccer enthusiast who enjoys a good run, but spending time with his son Jayce Anthony is by far the one thing he loves the most.
Fun Fact: Mark’s hobby is collecting crisp new currency from around the world.
